Always a good time. The 2 hour drive is always worth it. Being into N Scale and G Gauge, there's a very good assortment of the 2 least popular sizes! Prices are a tad high but 100% reasonable for a mom and pop/post covid hobby shop!

Some great memories at this store with my boys (who are now in college). I mostly had HO so that is going to be the basis of most of my review. They have incredible, I mean incredible HO inventory. I have stopped at shops in nearly every other state and though this shop is small they manage to be one of the best. Really, it's an incredible place. Hopefully in the next decade or so I can take grandkids here and enjoy some of the same nostalgic feelings for the model train hobby. 5 star, no place better
My son is almost 5 and we love coming to The Train Station to check for anything new on their running model train and set.
He loves ALL trains...freight trains (I get him a CSX calendar every year from The Train Station!), LEGO trains, wooden trains...but his favorite by far are his model trains.
Most of his HOs (and track/accessories) I have purchased used from The Train Station. It's an inexpensive way for him to collect all different types of cargo and his love for the hobby is growing thanks to you guys!
There are 2 employees that aren't necessarily inviting when we shop (maybe because my son is so young and they don't feel comfortable with him in the store?) but the rest of the gentlemen there are kind, helpful and patient!

This store is a great resource for model railroaders of all skill levels. They are very friendly and provide excellent customer service. I am new to the hobby and had a car with a broken coupler. I took it into the store and they went out of their way to repair it for me.
